Your drawings stay on your computer

Chalkin saves your drawings and settings locally. You do not need an account, and Chalkin does not upload your drawings to us. You can export a drawing and choose where to send or store that file.

Website visits

Cloudflare delivers this website and the app download. It processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to do that.

We use Umami analytics to understand how many people visit the site and click a download button. Umami records the page visited, referrer, browser and device information, and an approximate country. Our download events record which button was clicked. Umami does not use cookies for this tracking. The analytics script is served from t.rsts.me.

Occasional Chalkin news

If you sign up, we store your email address, signup date, and the version of the signup wording in Cloudflare D1. We use this list for occasional major news about Chalkin, not for every release. We keep your address until you ask us to remove it or we stop using the list.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for spam. It processes technical browser and request data for this check. We do not store your IP address or Turnstile token in the signup database, and we do not send your email address to website analytics.

To leave the list or delete your signup, email [email protected].

Messages

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. Fastmail handles this email. We use the information to read and reply to you. Please do not send sensitive information in feedback.
